Brief

BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) is a Computer based online test conducted by BITS Pilani for admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS Pilani Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have passed or who are appearing for the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent qualifying examination. The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects.

Exam Pattern

BITSAT is total of 3-hour duration (without break). The test consists of four parts:
Part I: Physics with 40 questions
Part II: Chemistry with 40 questions
Part III: (a) English Proficiency with 15 questions and (b) Logical Reasoning with 10 questions
Part IV: Mathematics or Biology (For B.Pharm candidates) with 45 questions

Application Procedure

Candidates need to register online for BITSAT-2018 at http://www.bitsadmission.com. Pay the application form fees and take the print out for future reference. Registered candidates can download the “Hall Ticket” from the BITS website. Besides filling the application for BITSAT, candidates need to apply for admission to BITS based on their 12th marks and preferences for programmes offered.
